Vernovis is looking for a full-stack .Net Developer / Software Engineer to support and enhance our client’s healthcare application used in radiology workflows. The role is primarily focused on backend development, with meaningful frontend work in a clinical review application. Successful candidates will be comfortable jumping into existing codebases, collaborating on project scoping, and contributing either as a hands-on coder or as someone who also enjoys technical discussions and planning.

What You'll Do:

  • Design, develop, and enhance full-stack .NET applications, contributing across both backend services and user-facing functionality
  • Maintain and extend existing production systems, implementing new features, refinements, and performance improvements
  • Build and modify web-based interfaces using .NET and modern UI patterns to support workflow enhancements and user feedback
  • Develop and support Windows-based services and applications, including background processes and system-level components
  • Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders to scope work, estimate effort, and prioritize development tasks, while also being comfortable executing independently

What You'll Have:

  • Strong hands-on experience with C# and .NET, including both backend development and frontend implementation (e.g., Razor or similar frameworks)
  • Exposure to healthcare or imaging-related systems, such as PACS, HL7, or DICOM
  • Proven ability to work in established codebases, performing maintenance, enhancements, and incremental feature delivery
  • Experience developing full-stack solutions, with an understanding of how frontend, backend, and system components interact
  • Familiarity with Windows-based environments, including services, installers, or system-level applications
  • Ability to adapt to evolving priorities and contribute either through hands-on coding or technical discussions and planning, depending on project needs
  • Exposure tointegrated systemsor data exchange between applications
  • Experience inregulated or complex technical environments
  • Familiarity with healthcare, imaging, or standards-based integrations (helpful but not required).
